the telco business development manager (telco bdm), a commissioned position, is responsible for leading the transformation of intel s relationship with leading telcos in the country. the manager will work with the in country key telco customers to create a structured engagement for intel s ongoing relationship with these key customers. he/she will frame the telco account strategies, level of engagement at the top down to the operation level, the clear value propositions, define and communicate co marketing plans and opportunities, identify and drive opportunities to increase volume and mix, act as a consultant to telco s executive and as a sales coach to the telco s sale teams, influence and drive sales indicators like revenue, create programs to engage and influence customers. this role is both internally and externally focused and will require that the successful candidate interact regularly with customers to both understand and influence the relationship. this person will lead the country strategy for engagement with telecommunications companies and will report into intel southern cone district manager.
qualifications
you should possess an m.b.a. qualification or a degree with 10+ years of combined pc industry and/or telco industry experience. additional qualifications include:
extensive knowledge of telecommunication industry, its business model, its dynamic trend and direction, and technologies
must have recent experience working with telcos
excellent interpersonal skills, strong strategy development, program management and relationship management skills and be capable of influencing across multiple groups and/or organizations
