this position is for the swsd software path finding and innovation (spi) team located in cordoba, argentina. spi mission is to execute the ssg strategic direction by identifying, architecting and prototyping emerging usages (in a two to 3 years horizon) through underlying software and services that provide a strategic differentiator for intel. in this position, your responsibilities will mainly involve: participating and contributing in ideation process leading to development of new concepts and sw prototypes identifying and driving difficult technical issues to resolution designing, prototyping and/or implementing medium sized software modules without supervision documenting your own work assisting in effective technology transfer to other intel and external sw teams working closely with senior engineers and architects to understand functional requirements for various software subsystems working effectively with other teams in ssg and intel, as well as external independent software vendor (isvs) and oems, to lead cooperative development efforts built around spis concepts and technologies timely delivery of high quality debugged code you should possess a bachelor of science degree or a master of science degree in computer engineering, computer science, or an equivalent with at least one year of proven experience. additional qualifications include: fluent written and verbal english communication skills strong competencies in creativity, communication and interaction skills, commitment to task, versatility and decisiveness. demonstrated hands on software development experience with knowledge of software engineering principles. technical background in: programming languages mastery (c, c++, .net, java, xml), web technologies knowledge (application servers, portals, web 2.0), object oriented development techniques, model driven development, networking and communication protocols, graphical and non graphical user interfaces .
