This position is for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) within the ASMO Application Design Center (ADC) specialized in providing technical support for Intel's top channel customers.

1) Candidate will be supporting the Field Sales teams as a Technical Marketing Engineer providing design-in support to system integrators within the districts of Northern Cone (Primarily Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru) and Southern Cone (primarily Argentina). Candidate will be responsible for technical support of Intel Client and Enterprise products by providing technical training's and removing customer technical hurdles prior to launch. Candidate will provide QuAD support to customers and perform periodic customer thermal tests. Customer support and training to Tierra del Fuego based customers is expected to grow over the next year.

2) Candidate shall possess a strong background in Servers and be recognized as the go to person in LAR for server technical issue resolution. As such, the candidate will be required to maintain close relations with the ASMO ADC Enterprise Team as well as EPSD/DCG.

The position focuses on direct customer support to Intel developed desktop boards and server boards, chassis and systems as well as IA-based ODM mobile platforms including tablets. Intel developed servers products include: Intel’s  Xeon’s Server Systems as well as Intel’s Multi-Flex Server Systems.

Candidate shall possess a strong hardware/software background which includes server management and driver experience. Candidate will replicate customer issues and drive them to resolution. The candidate will also be the technical liaison between the field and Intel's selected customers and will be required to give technical presentations during periodic customer visits.

Given this is a customer facing position, strong customer orientation and presentation skills are required. A successful candidate must have the ability to identify, investigate, and solve customer problems both technically & businesswise while under pressure.

The position requires that the candidate have a good overall understanding of desktop and server hardware, LAN/WAN network operation, RAID technology and controllers, server technologies, remote management as well as virtualization. The position also requires experience with EFI and Windows, with Linux knowledge a plus. Additional qualifications as follows:

� Applicant must have a MSEE, MSCS, BSEE, or BSCS (or equivalent) with 5 or more years of experience
� Must be completely fluent in both Spanish and English with Portuguese a plus
� Must possess excellent communication skills with direct customer experience a plus
� Must be a highly motivated self-starter able to work independently with limited direction
� Ability to bound and debug system integration issues for Intel based Server and client platforms
� Ability to travel within Argentina and to Colombia and Peru on regular customer visits
