In this position, you will be researching, designing, testing, implementing and maintaining software systems to meet company needs. You will be using a variety of computer programming languages and applications, working and leading teams with other professionals, or alone. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Designing, coding and testing new software programs. - Creating technical specifications, designs, requirements and test plans - Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications - Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project. - Mastery in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript. - Software development expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems - Hands-on expertise in two or more in the following areas: JavaScript/Web Apps development, HTML5 and related technologies, Webkit rendering engine Rich Client Applications, XML and related technologies, user interface development, computer security, and performance optimization
