Job Description Engineering Computing Engineer is responsible for providing overall IT infrastructure support for Argentina Software Development Center in Cordoba. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, Storage and Backup/restore infrastructure, as well provide IT support for labs Resolving first and/or second and/or third level incidents as required. Owning and driving the resolution of identified problems. Leading and participating in projects to implement new capabilities, upgrades, and changes. Collaborating as required with other groups to provide service for infrastructure changes, elevate data quality concerns, share information and best known methods, to communicate service problems and keep abreast of upcoming developments. Supporting activities to drive continuous improvement and preventative maintenance, for example: Evaluating and analyzing current system performance and performing periodic performance reviews The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or CIS and 1-2 years experience in multidiscipline IT environments. The following qualifications are desired: Windows & Linux administration skills SQL Database management Experience with Storage (SAN/NAS) infrastructure will be an advantage Experience with Virtualization environments will be an advantage Programming/Scripting experience ITIL framework and Project management skills will be an advantage Excellent Communication and presentation skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) Additional qualifications include: To be a team player, ability to effectively work with others, up and down the organization, effectively working with peers, stakeholders, users and suppliers; Ability to analyze problems to identify root causes and to resolve complex service problems and/or issues;
