Responsibilities: In this position, you will be fully responsible for leading a multi-geo system integration testing team. As part of your responsibilities will be the understanding of interfaces among different systems and implementing and conducting software integration testing activities for different Applications, Platforms and Environments. You will be translating multiple business perspectives into an integration tests specification and communicating with other stakeholders. You will be using a variety of applications, working in teams with other professionals. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Create and execute software integration plans including managing challenging schedules and performing monitoring activities. - Manage dependencies and risks. - Consolidate product requirements from multiple sources and maintain stable baselines - Implementing, documenting and validating test cases for testing the system integration of different software components (multiple backend systems, client device systems, etc.) to identify and report software defects. - Handling feedback and error reports from internal and external users. - Understanding overall product requirements and product software architecture to optimize tests across modules and leverage automation for quicker, wider test coverage - Working closely with other staff, consulting clients and/or colleagues concerning the functionality and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information, clarify details and implement information. - Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications. - Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project. Qualifications You should possess a Computer Science, Computer Engineering degree or equivalent with more than five years of relevant experience in tasks such as described in the responsibilities section and excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. -Hands-on experience as test leader, business analyst, and different types of testing (some of them): system integration, service, performance, load, security, etc. -Hands-on experience in software testing tools (test management, bug tracking systems, etc.) -Familiar with Software Configuration Management practices -Experience in Windows and/or Linux operating systems -Good teamwork skills are a must as the candidate will be working with various levels of engineering expertise in various geographies Additional qualifications include: -Experience with Meego operating system -Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and data scripts -Hands-on experience in automating test cases with some of the following tools: QTP, TestComplete, Selenium, SOAPUI. -Strong results orientation and leadership skills -CMMI or ISO standards knowledge -Experience on backend services -Knowledge in some of the following areas: Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Web Services, XML related technologies (for example, XSLT, XML Schema, XML Security, and others), and computer security -Project management skills. -An outstanding communicator (in Spanish and English), being an active listener and observer, plus having excellent writing communication skills.
