In this position, you will be primarily responsible for analyze product requirements and business scenarios in order to automate test cases. As part of your responsibilities you will automate and then execute test cases, reporting results. You will need understanding of interfaces among different systems and implementing and conducting software integration testing activities for different Applications, Platforms and Environments. You will be using a variety of applications, working in teams with other professionals, or alone. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Creating test cases based on products requirements - Automating test cases - Executing test cases (manually and automated) - Analyzing results, reporting test cases results and product defects - Handling feedback and error reports from internal and external users. - Maintaining regression testing frameworks. - Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications. - Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project. Qualifications You should possess a Computer Science, Computer Engineering degree or equivalent with more than four years of relevant experience in tasks such as described in the responsibilities section and excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. -Hands-on experience in working with different types of testing (some of them): system integration, service, performance, load, security, etc. -Hands-on experience in software testing tools (test management, bug tracking systems, etc.) -Experience in Windows and/or Linux operating systems -Hands-on experience in writing test cases and automating them for web based products (HTML5, HTML). -Hands-on experience in automating test cases with QTP, TestComplete, Selenium, or SOAPUI Additional qualifications include: -Experience with Meego operating system -Strong results orientation, team working and leadership skills -CMMI or ISO standards knowledge -Experience on backend services -Knowledge in some of the following areas: Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Web Services, XML related technologies (for example, XSLT, XML Schema, XML Security, and others), and computer security -An outstanding communicator (in Spanish and English), being an active listener and observer, plus having excellent writing communication skills.
