The Channel Marketing Manager works in partnership with Channel Sales to
jointly invest the channel funds to increase channel sell-through, product mix
and revenue. Channel Sales ensures sell-in, Channel Marketing ensures channel
sell-through. This sell-through is accomplished through managing store,
reseller, call center and extended sales force and working together with
Distribution manager for distributor promotions (spiffs, contest, specials,
training, promotions and campaigns), ensuring proper merchandising, running
reseller education, contest, motivation and seeding programs. CMM also works in
synch with the marketing team, Latin America channel team and collaborates with
Product Marketing, PR, to ensure that the specific reseller needs are met.
The ideal candidate will be capable of creating and managing multiple
integrated sales and marketing programs to and thru the reseller channel, will
be able to influence across teams effectively, and is a motivated channel and
reseller ambassador.
Responsibilities also include:
Scaling: CMM manages the engines and programs to scale Intel product, marketing
and sales strategies through the distribution channel.
Reseller: CMMs are instrumental to articulate Intel strategies through the
number of channels in LAR, expand Intel footprint and ensure sales out and
faster product transitions.
Dependencies: Channel marketing depends on Marketing Teams (Consumer and
Business) to deliver assets to position products in those segments through the
channel.
Integration with Distribution managers: CMM feeds with content, DBM promote/spread
all channel programs and assets through Distributors.
Market knowledge: CMMs have to understand the bigger picture and channel market
in order to be a step ahead supporting the sales manager. They need to know
what's needed, why we need and prioritizing most critical activities.
-Bachelors degree with minimum of 5 years sales &
marketing experience.
-Master (MBA or related) degree is required.
-Must be highly motivated and passionate about sales.
-Requires a strong understanding of Reseller channels as well as Intel
products.
-Experience managing call centers and/or extended (contracted) sales forces
-A willingness to travel internationally.
-Skilled at managing multiple projects.
-Thrive in a fast paced, creative but fun environment.
-Strong communicator and influencer.
-Solid presentation & power point skills.
-Candidate should have fluent English and Spanish
