Manager of the Business & Education group in Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay). The business segment spans all the way from small companies to large enterprises and government. Responsible for business development, sales and marketing for both segments. Manages a group of account managers for large end users, education and PC manufacturers, plus dotted line resources from other groups. Reports to the Southern Cone General Manager
Qualifications
- A college graduate degree in engineering or marketing. Computer science and electronic engineering a plus. Masters in business administration or technology related fields strongly preferred.
- Have people management experience in MNC company environment.
- At least 10 years working experience in technology industry, not ncessarily PC industry. Software industry experience a plus.
- Have direct sales or business development experience by covering major accounts
- Have marketing experience, preferably in the business segment
- Is knowledgeable about Intel platform/solutions and their value proposition in Intel architecture ecosystem.
- Can travel frequently, mostly in Argentina and Chile
Important skill set:
- Must demonstrate leadership and be self motivated. Capable of leading a team spread across Bs As and Santiago. He/she must be able to develop team's competency through training and coaching.
- Strong planning and execution skills within strategic framework, both in sales and in marketing.
- Very good communication skill for dealing with CxO & Minister level audiences.
- Confident to speak for Intel to large group of end users as well as to media and analysts.
- Ability to work in teams, interface with internal and external stakeholders
