For major multinational, Ecosystems are currently seeking a Business Analyst, with availability to work in Capital Federal. The Manufacturing IT organization is looking for a high potential individual interested in an entry level position as a Business Analyst for the Field System team. This is an internally filled position. The team focuses on providing the tools used to collect and analyze information from within Monsanto’s growing fields. A combination of handheld technology and web tools are leveraged to provide a set of systems that are used across the globe. The Company’s seed manufacturing business is complex; therefore candidates must have strong analytical experience and be able to quickly learn new business processes in order to be successful in this role. In addition, the team has implemented new software development processes which results in more formal requirements gathering/documenting, release planning, and change control. The successful candidate will need to handle both an agile/flexible environment, as well as a more formal, process driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements associated with new projects and system enhancements, facilitating prioritization meetings with business to set enhancement priorities, monitoring the support mailbox to assist users, working with the development team to identify enhancements for each release and assign work, monitor and communicate status of release deliverables. Responsibilities will include: Gather and capture business requirements for new projects and system enhancements Working directly with users and developers to understand requirements, align solutions, set delivery priorities, and communicate status Monitoring support mailbox and addressing issues or capturing change requests Prioritizing work and assigning developers Creating, tracking, and managing TeamTrack/TeamSite tickets for change control Skills: Minimum 1 to 2 years BA experience desired Experience working on a small team Experience working on multiple efforts Experience working with users located in different world areas Good communication skills Process oriented with a customer satisfaction focus Knowledge of manufacturing processes or agriculture is a plus, but is not required.
